I tried using forum search and Google, but all I could find were threads from 2011-2013 on SVTperformance.
Can anyone give me a rule-of-thumb for what the delta should be on front-to-rear tire height? Like, don't have your front tires more than 5% shorter than rears, or 7%, or whatever it may be.
I'm thinking specifically with traction control, ABS, etc when daily driving.

I dont think there is delta for drag racing. I ran a 3x15 inch tire up front on my 95 race car. And ran a 28x10.5x15 slick out back. I would have went bigger out back. If not for the class rules I raced in. I also ran a tall 305 on the 15. And a 2 inch shorter front tire without issue.

My concern is with daily driving. I don't have a long commute so I don't want to have a spare set of wheels/tires, but I want to be able to run a tall radial in the back and a relatively skinny/short all/season up front.

Understood. I ran a 305-45/18. It was a 28.9 inch tall tire out back. And a 26 inch tall front for a while. The car had a prison sex ass up stance. But it never handled badly or had any traction control issues. What set up are you interested in?

Looking at something like a 225/50-18 front (27") and 305/45-18 rear (29").
So it looks like a 2" delta may not be an issue.

Actually, those look like F14 wheels. That's exactly what I'm looking at, and it looks like you ran the same size rear I'm considering.

What were your wheel sizes, and what was the front tire size?

Wheels are 18x10.5 with a 305/45-r18 Nitto NTo5rs. And I run a 225 series tire up front on a 7 inch wheel.

I switched to a 325/35 mickeys out back because I didn’t like the ass in the air stance. The nitros were almost 29 inches tall. The mickeys are two inches less.

Got any other pictures of it with the previous setup? That's damn near what I was considering.
