That looks really good Jeff with the tall front tire. I am gonna do the same, just got my 17" wheels and have been trying to figure out what actual front tire to use. Can you tell me which part # you used on the front, I cant find it. Thanks, looks great and will probably work really good.

Looks great. Makes me want a set real bad. Are the front tires bias ply or radials? Do you think the skinnies added any et?
Front bias ply . They make the car track so much better than it did with the radials .20+ lbs per wheel less than the GTPP wheels . My first run with the skinnies was 11.34 . My best run with the stockers was 11.43

Here's my setup. 18x4 in the front and 17x10 in the rear with mickey thompson 305/45/17 tires. It cuts 1.36 sixty foot times on a decent track.

That is the Mickey Drag Radial, looks like it works the same as a slick, great job, 1.36, impressive !!!

Actually they were better than the slicks. The best I could do with the slicks was a 1.51.

Im torn on the two, bought my wheels and still waiting on my decision on tires. I know the drag radial will be faster on a good track, but the hoosier slick will work better on crap tracks. Nice to see that picture, didnt know that tire worked so well. Thanks !!!

What about Hoosier drag radials? I've always had great experiences with them.... Just wish they made a damn 17" stiff wall slick already lol

Does anyone have any other picture besides Racestars? I'd like to see some other options.

Once you see the price of weld wheels you won't want to see anything but race stars.

The welds cost about twice as much as the race star wheels and I like the way the race stars look better. If I find a deal on used weld I am planning to buy them and sell my race stars. I don't like the way the race stars fit. They are a bit of a pain to change out with the shank style lug nuts.
