So i just installed my blowfish bracket today on my 17 GT. Shifts are great but after following installation video and pushing the bracket up all the way the shifter is now sitting a bit too high.

Is there any drawbacks to dropping it? Its sitting too high as it is so there shouldn't be any problems with seals right? Any problems with gear alignment or something I'm unaware of?

Could I ask if someone can measure the height of their stock shifter? from the bezel to the top of the stock shift knob. I stupidly assumed it would be the same with the bracket installed and didn't measure and I can't find any postings about stock shifter height

If you can get it to drop the only drawback would be that it might not seal properly with the body and would let more heat through. I wouldn't have expected the bracket to raise the height of the shifter unless your shifter wasn't seated properly to begin with.

Hmm I didn't think of it that way.

I will have to pop the boot and take a look and see if its pushed up too much. if it doesn't look like I can adjust much then I may just have to grab a short throw
