I gotcha and I am living with it for now as well. I kept researching that day and found some info and various codes on FORscan. When I get back home, I’ll send the info I’ve found your way…if I remember.
It may save ya some time. I also read that if you have a good tuner he/she can do it for you when when they are tuning your car. I still just don’t understand why they did that! I’ve read people’s suggested reasoning for it. Mostly so you don’t leave your car running for it to be stolen. I think that would be a rare occurrence though (How often do you leave your car running unattended when out in public or while in a sketchy area?) compared to the number of times you’ve wanted to check or work on things (outside of your car) like your engine, exhaust, various leaks, electrical, etc specifically with the engine running. If it were an EV, that would make more sense! I’ve actually accidentally done that with my cousins car. Anyway, I’ll shut up now. Take care man!Sponsored
