I know the topic is discussed to death...but what is currently the best DRY drop in air filter to put into a 2018 GT? I live in California and don't want to deal with the hassle of a Non CARB approved intake.

Thanks for your help! :p

I'm running the green drop in filter for my 2018 eb. Got it for $27 shipped off eBay used for 7k miles.
As I understand it? The air box itself hasn't actually changed physically speaking from 15-19?
I used the 15-17 airaid modular tube on mine. No issues, velossatech ram air scoop also no issue's.
I also ran an afe in my 2013 3.7 and it went the fastest with the stock box&their filter.

The stock filter has been dyno-tested to be the best. Just leave it.

MotoIQ saw some nice gains with just a drop in filter.

And being a math nerd I starting running some numbers... it has a better $/HP ratio than any of the Ford Performance Power Packs.. :D

I thought about that too. But, I figure going with a dry filter I can't hurt anything. And besides, it's cheap too.

Link/source?

ETA; I found it. They say gains of 7HP/7TQ........but any more info is lacking.

Was the OEM filter dirty? Did they do the dyno runs back to back, just a few minutes apart? It would be good if they provided that info.
