My Mustang is already garage-kept and not really intending to change that...however, I have an almost 3.5yr old, who already has outdoor toys and will likely have a bicycle in the near future. He already likes to run his hands along over the car and is likely leave hairline trails in the paint... =/
The other day I had my floor jack in the area as I was working on the wife's car and was in the process of cleaning up, and he decided to play with the handle of it before I could get it put up, and the knurled handle whacked against the rear quarter edge, thankfully not THAT hard, but enough it dinged the clear a bit. Just thinking ahead; part of me admits, probably over-thinking.
Well, I'm after a padded car cover; preferably one that's got some thickness to it, perhaps like a moving blanket, so that when he does inevitably run something into it, it won't cause any harm. That said, I guess I could put a lighter cover on it and then drape the moving blankets over it the areas most-prone to be hit with bike handlebars or whatever...
So, what may be the best indoor car cover on the market? Maybe one that has a decent amount of padding built in?
