I'd been thinking that space below the toggle switches was a little bland..........just the USB/12v interfaces. BUT, it's an ideal place for the "key" fob! :)

With keyless entry/start, you need someone to store 'em!

I'm really happy about the keyless ignition. I have quite a few keys on my key ring, and it gets annoying sometimes having them hanging out of the ignition, flopping around while driving!

Rich people problems lol.

I never put those keys in my front pocket. Too bulky so I agree now that its keyless would like some place to put them when driving.

TT, I dont know where you got that pic but nice find. That's the first time I've seen the keys for the new mustang.

I keep my key fob in my pocket, It does not make sense to take it out of my pocket and put it in a place where I would probably forget it when I exit the vehicle, defeating the whole design of push start/keyless entry...In my opinion!

If it's keyless couldn't they have made a smaller key? I know it's nitpicky but it still looks pretty big.

That's standard. The fob needs to be large enough to handle so you can operate the lock/unlock/trunk/emergency buttons. Plus the fob will usually hold a real key inside of it in the event you need to manually unlock the car.

^^This. It has to contain a regular key in case the battery dies or something along those lines. That way you can get into your car no matter what.

It does look like those are quality materials though. Any more pics of up close interior like that?

When you're looking for quality of materials its best not to use those press shots which are all touched up glamor shots. I prefer looking at ones in real life conditions not a studio like the ones M6G took and posted:

I agree on looking for real life conditions photos.

That trans tunnel looks like it may be hard plastic, sure hope not. But either way overall a huge improvement in all respects.
