Well believe me I searched alot. Most companies just pointed me at the door, also highest price I received was 5.400€
I had some crazy quotes as well though, eventually I changed from insurance agent and he negotiated a good deal with the insurance company. My previous agent ripped me off for years, new agent showed me the log from the old one and it appeared that he never gave a me any discount even if he said so..

Anyway, stand your ground and get a friend or acquaintance as your agent, this might help!

Modding in Belgium is practically impossible, unless you convert everything back to normal when you need to go to the inspection. But inspections don't look under the hood so it is mixed. The law is even so bad that you need to replace brakes for the same, you are not even allowed to put better brakes if the old ones need replacement.
Currently going for better intercooler, air intake and software mod. All are illegal (asked my insurance agent, but he is also a lover for mustang so he is quiet about it)

Been doing some research lately and found this, a lot of dead links though...

As long as you get the right certificates you can do something, like the better brakes for example.
Ford won't deny you that the 6 piston Brembo's are bad or unsafe, so get a certificate from the dealer or installer and your fine.

So I'm curious if a dealer should take the time to write down certifications without asking money for their time. When I read those rules I always smile how blurry the description is

how2tune is a old old site. With old reglementations that where worse in that timeframe of that goverment (somewhere in 2004). It should be less agressive now.
They are indeed quite old, but on the other hand a law from 67 that was never changed or actualized is still the law... Things go slooow here...

I think it's more something like a manufacturer certificate installed by...

Because when you read this, it says that the back lights should keep their original color ... so in our case even the vinyls from Dennis are not allowed?

Small question for the belgian owners... How many km did your car had on the clock when delivered to you?
As I received my car today I can now also give an answer...
34km... I know they drove the car 8km for the tint job.
So normally had been 26km

Even with the vinyl the lights stay red & amber, so it's ok.
Not sure about adding the sequence tails in amber though, but according to my dealer we can...

Vinyl blocks the reflectors (behind the clear led-covers / indside the taillights).
When driving with lights off, there is no reflection anymore from lights of cars driving behing you.

Formally you should add seperate reflectors on your rearbumper

So based on these last two remarks :
reflectors needed in the back - OK thay are present (in red)
side reflectors NOT in the back - we can change this from amber to red with vinyls.

Just back in Belgium after a few days Germany ... Seen not even one Mustang in Germany!
Only Mustang I saw, was today back in Belgium.
It was heavily raining and it drove not fast at all so could see it from far away when I was approaching it.
A bleu ecoboost. Nice but it could have been any car, asked all people in car what it was and none knew. Remark was not flashy enough in this color.
No offence to anyone just some feedback.

Do not agree the DIB is not flashy, it's not like triple yellow or comp orange and agree it is maybe not the color people would expect on a mustang as Black and Red are the most associated colors but definitely more flashy than guard, magnetic or Ingot.
I've choosen Ingot especially not to be flashy. I think Ingot with silver wheels, silver window bezels and white EU lenses are very Aston Martin alike...with a better budget ratio :D and I prefer our Cobra front !
