Being Deaf, I have NO idea what a BOV or Turbo Whistle sounds like. I am able to hear the loud and low exhaust clearly. But I can't help but get frustrated when I watch some guys video and someone comments the BOV sounds awesome. BOOMBOY can relate!

Not sure if you were born deaf or it happened later in life but it kind of sounds like a huge queef :)

That being said it's mainly cool because it is not something you hear very often coming from any car let alone a mustang

Born Deaf. Fever in the fetus caused my inner ear hair not to grow the normal length.

While my hearing loss is profound (most severe), I do not sign and actually lip read and hear via my hearing aids. I was fortunate enough to attend a special deaf school where they taught speech therapy and taught me to speak properly. Now as an adult, I can have a normal conversation and most people would not know I am deaf in person unless they noticed my hearing aids. However I still need subtitles/closed captioning on TV/Movies.

PS. I play softball as well. Ha!

My aunt is deaf and mute. She also went to a special school in Riverside, Ca called CSDR. I swear to god she hears me every time I cuss her out LOL.

I feel for you. If there is background noise, I am completely deaf in the mid range, and my hearing is only getting worse.

My biggest problem is that my "music" is engine noise, so I am slowly making myself worse. I guess if there is a way to go out this is best.

But don't feel bad, so many cars these days sound terrible, and most people too!

In all honesty, I'm not sure if I like the BOV sound hahaha

I like the sound of spooling -- but the release sound has always been "meh."

A common BOV used around here -- I'm not sure if it's an HKS or Turbosmart or whatever -- it's extremely quick releasing, and sounds like a.. hrmph. a squeaking door? lol. It's not a Tial or HKS, I think it's a spacer or something.

I hate the high pitched ones. Ours doesn't sound bad...

Sounds like if you shoot a high pressure pipe but for about 1 second, you know how in movies they may hit a pipe or a pipe has air coming out? It sounds like that. I know you said you are deaf from birth but can still somewhat hear so I'm trying to be somewhat specific with the example.

In terms of not being able to hear a certain car, I would say the EB is no great loss. Now, if you owned a Pagani Zonda, I would weep for you. The EB sounds like a sewing machine.
