Hey guys

All I want is performance at affordable cost but I have hard time finding EB Base with PP with blue color at local dealers. They generally try to fully load the premium models but rather leave base models in stock or reverse sensing/security pack at max.

Often I hear that stock vehicles generally get better rebates and discounts so the dealers don't have to pay interest on those cars. How much difference am I actually looking at for custom order vs dealer stock? Any experience guys?

When you custom order the car, when do you start making payments? Do you put down payment before the car is ordered? or only deposit w/ no financial commitment at the time?

Thanks,

I custom ordered my Magnetic 6MT base Eco, only options being PP and Recaros. I gave them $1000 cash in Feb when I ordered it, and had my car 3rd week in April. 1st payment was due in May. I paid X-plan minus $1000 in rebates.

You don't start paying till you get the car. Look at ordering one using X-Plan but even ordering you can get easily $500 under invoice if not more.

FYI, you should look into the base GT with the PP. I know it's more but that EB is going to require 93 octane to get max performance out of it, where you can run 87 all day in the GT and still have 430+ HP that you'll love.

And if you push that EB, you'll be using up fuel just like you had a GT anyway.

Great answers guys Thanks!

Negotiation question:

When you are using X-plan how much negotiation room do you have considering dealers drop most of their rebates except for $500 cash from Ford and $500 for financing?

Can I reasonably ask them to drop the destination charge or at least reduce it? what about $100 Doc fee? What did you guys knock off the x-plan pricing?

Thanks!
