Yeah, the pull feel you got used to down low, isn't in our Gen 3's, this beast come's alive about when that LT1 starts to weez for air. My E85 tune is set up to command shift in D at 7700 rpms! From 1st gear to 7th (the 1:1 gear) with the 3.55's she traps at 123 or 124 at 11.3 to 11.15 thru a 1/4. She's been at the track twice, both nights I had good DA, mid to high 70's and lower humidity, the first night out the car was bone stock with about 800 miles on the clock, and as everyone knows, hop and spin on 255 Pirelli P Zero's was horrible!!! On the E85 the A10 is still holding 6th and crosses the line at 7k rpms. I went from 2 flat 60 fts to a 1.7 flat. When this amazing A10 shifts it shifts hard! (I let it do all the work, I don't mess with my paddle shifters or using Sport mode because there is no way on this Earth I can shift it that fast as quickly as these engines rev on E85). So its almost impossible to compare how these cars feel, or their perception of speed, my Mustang seems much scarier and more violent with that A10 banging away at gears and only dropping roughly 1k rpms when it does so at 7700! Yet alone the sound...
Holy crap that's bloody fast! I didn't have the LT1 in my old car it was a L99 which only made 400 HP stock. It had a really high ratio first and even 2nd gear in the trans that helped to get it's fat a$$ moving quicker than some might think. I do love this A10 so far. I was driving around in Sport Mode last night and I love how the trans downshifted on its own when slowing down almost like a manual in a sense. And then the pops and burbles that come with that is very satisfying. And it shifts so quick holy.....

I went nuts on mine last summer after the disappointing stock car outing (12.3 best @ 118 with hop and spin in first 3 gears). I was pissed. And was bound and determined to follow (then) Steeda's silver bullet build (they since way out spent me, go figure, multi million dollar successful business compared to now retired dude's income, LOL) which then was struggling to break into the high 10's. They've since run a 10.2 with carbon fiber (super expensive) body panels, interior weight removal, race seats, a higher stall converter, more tweeking on the A10's tuning, more suspension...yada, yada, yada. I'm just happy that all the basic mods got me to where I am now at. This A10 was definitely a smart move on my part. It was the main reason (along with liking the facelift) that I bought my '18. I bought the base car on purpose too, its the lightest of the bunch, roughly 100 lbs lighter than an optioned out premium PP car. And now I have the FR3 Track suspension and Eradispeed+ drilled and slotted rotors so she handles as well (or better I think) than a stock PP car does, at a lighter weight, and although I have only seat of the pants impression to make this claim, stops just as quick now as the larger Brembo's does, at, once again, less overall weight. Drilled and slotted also Look nicer too (again, my opinion).
