I'm also making a road trip from Oregon back to Colorado sometime in March to see family. I love road trips, I'm already excited for this one!
RIGHT! :headbang: and getting to make the trip in a car i've been saving up for for years makes it that much sweeter!

The road trip was awesome. 1500 miles, 26.5 mpg on the computer, a little less than that in reality. I found the car to be very comfortable out to about 6 or 7 hours. After that, my butt thought the seat was a little hard. But a 12-hour drive is hard in any car. My wife's hips are a bit wider than mine (that's a good thing) and she found the seat bottom a little annoying after several hours. It could be an inch wider for her.

We really enjoyed the MFT. Auto-temp works amazingly well. Sirius is a pleasure, though I am not at all impressed with sound quality on satellite radio. Pretty poor. Phone integration works well on my GS4. That it will read text messages to me is somehow astounding. The nav system is easy to program and easy to follow without being obnoxious about it all.

Coming home tonight I think we found the secret to the 9-speaker stereo. It sounds OK on FM, and as I said it sounds pretty poor on satellite. But try this. Set the bass to +4, the mid and treble to +2, take it out of "Driver" Mode, shove the Pentatonix Christmas CD into the slot, and crank the volume. There is NOTHING wrong with the system that proper media and settings won't fix. Wow.
