Hi everyone,
Is there a way to reprogram the BCM to match a car that does not have memory seat function?
I am restoring a 2015 Mustang GT and ran into this unique problem. The BCM and seats are from a different model (with memory seat function). Original vehicle (door wiring harness) was not equipped with memory seat function. The lock buttons on the door don't work and I think it's because the BCM is looking for a signal from GWM>PDM>Door Lock Switch.
Meanwhile, the door lock control switch is sending the signal directly to the BCM.
Does anyone know if the BCM program can be modified so that it receives a signal input directly from the door lock control switch?
Thanks in advance!
