So I purchased a barely used set up BC BR Coils for the S550 yesterday for a very decent price. I did a little bit of research prior but didn't find much different information other than the same specs pasted on all the different websites. However when I was trying to find a install PDF or printable instructions (yes, I know there are videos too) last night after getting home I came across the product page on Lethals website and it stated that they were not compatible with the performance package/track package/magna-ride. Non of the other retailers who sell them have that part on their site. Is this true? I'm not sure what would prevent them from working on a PP since you are replacing the whole strut/shock/spring assembly but you never know so I wanted to check here while I shoot an email off to BC.

So I got a response back from BC. They said as long as the PP doesn't have electronically controlled dappening then they are fine as you would lose that ability (obviously) and I know the PP does not so all good.

LethalPerformance, just curious of what you mean by that included that in your page about the PP?

A suspension company that doesn't know jack shit about what the car comes with from the factory tells you a lot. ( If PP doesn't come with the electronic damping option).

Not sure what your point is. The initial emails states that the coils will work with all SS550 on the first line of the email. They just covered the electronically controlled part because I asked why potentially someone would list them as not compatible on their site for PP/track pack/magna-ride. They just stated that if the car had any sort of electronically controlled damping that it would remove that feature and most likely cause some sort of fault light. The response wasn't specific to the PP but the question in general. Stop trying to find something to complain about and enjoy your ride. ;)

Good to hear. Thanks for letting me know! Most likely putting them on next tuesday. trying to convince myself to not spend more money and just order the subframe bushings and lockouts and get it done at once...

Installing rear springs does not necessarily require you to disassemble the IRS if you use, carefully, a spring compressor. Can do the IRS modifications later, if you want. Or you can just wait until you have everything at once like I did and have your mind blown at how much better our heavyweights can handle.

I had to use a 5mm spacer on the front to fit my m350 19X10 wheels with 275 Pirelli. Without the spacer they would rub slightly... just an fyi.

I have 275 with 20" wheels and have zero rubbing issues. I most likely have a different offset on the wheels than you.
