Quick question for exhaust experts out there. Is this exhaust: http://www.americanmuscle.com/-competition-catback-2015eco.html
Compatible with this down-pipe: http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-downpipe-or-1516eco.html ?

I found a great deal on a like-new cat back and I want to move fast but I noticed the down-pipe is made for 2.25 but then says it can fit aftermarket catbacks. I'm not the most mechanically inclined so I thought I would turn to you guys about compatibility before pulling the trigger on the new exhaust.

Thanks in advance!!!

Your first link is broken. However, if the cat-back has the ability to connect to the stock downpipe then it should connect to the downpipe you want seeing how it has the ability to connect to the stock cat-back.

Yes, it will work.
Okay great! If you don't mind elaborating though just so I understand better because I thought the downpipe went down to 2.25 and the cat back is 2.5. Just curious because I'm trying to become more knowledgeable of the mechanics. The

The cat-back steps down to 2.25 inch at the connection point so it fits with the stock downpipe or aftermarket downpipes with a 2.25 inch connection.

Not sure the MF is 2.25 tapered up but even if they were different diameters, you can always just get a shop to weld it to make it fit

I had a Krona Catted Downpipe which was able to fit my Magna flow exhaust system which had a factory connecting style.

BTW I have both items above for sell lol. Except my Magna flow exhaust is brand new and never installed because I had it replaced to a new one for free

Sound was better than most, sounded like a 4 cyl but people would ask if I "boosted my v6"

The exhaust is 700 or 800 shipped
Dp is 375 or 425 shipped.

The exhaust is literally brand new in the box

The MF is a 2.25" where it connects to the downpipe. Most cat-backs taper down at the connection point.
