I install mine directly to the battery. Remove the 3 fasteners off the cover and you are all set to connect. The lead will fall short of the front of the car, so you will have to pop the hood each time you connect/disconnect.

I hooked it on the red power line closest to the cabin, hanging down . Earth to to any of the strut bolts or thereabouts, plenty to find.

If you close the plastic fuse box slow it won't fall down, and you can close the hood but not lock it, and have it coming out on the fender or front, that's what I did....

Yes, you can go from the fuse box. Good info here and in other threads if you search for ‘battery’
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66918.

I’ve got the CTEK 3300. Hardwired it to ground and the middle post (I think) on the fuse box. There are pics in the thread I attached.

Hooked my NOCO directly to battery, cable tucked underneath windshield wiper recess under hood, out of the way but readily accessible

Just can't get enuff!
As stated above and now a visual example... I had this setup on my '15 and did exactly the same on my R.

You can see the (+) in red to the fuse box and the (-) in black to the suspension tower for ground.... pretty simple to do.

And then use a pigtail for an easy disconnect. Some battery tender kits come with multiple connecting harnesses.... easy peasy.

BTW...original idea for the strut brace detail instead of paint. :coolphotos:
You weren't supposed to notice that. You were supposed to be paying attention to the Tender install. :D
