Battery cable tie removal?

So I'm not a professional, but I've done a few mods myself with no issue (CAI, Redline hoodstruts, etc).... I have a Steeda strut tower brace to install, and it seems easy and straightforward, but how do you get that brown battery cable tie off the bolt stud without cutting it. Brute force pull it or is there a trick to it that I'm missing?

I did it Saturday. Trim tool will lift it right off.

Just pull it straight up

Thanks guys, got it off no prob. I thought there was some special tool or trick needed, but it pulled right off.
