Base model to premium interior cosmetics

I’m wanting to redo my interior with the ambient lighting system pp 15+ Mustangs come with, like cup holders, footwell lightings and door handle LED’s. I own a base model 17 gt, but If anyone knows how to efficiently make this transition I’d greatly appreciate any and all feedback.

I'm sure there is a package offered from the dealer but it is going to be pricey. On my older vehicles which were never offered this kind of cool lighting I went with OPT7 aura lighting for the footwells. I'm sure there are other plug and play bulbs/lighting kits that you can utilize for the cup holders/doorhandles ext.

Also if you can find a wrecked premium from a salvage yard you could take the parts you want out of one.

You would need to exchange the gauges, door panels, center console at the least, but you will also need door sill plates and the small lights that go under the dash. Then you have to figure out the wiring. It is not plug and play as all the wiring is not the same.

I did footwell lights in my base ‘18 GT.
