Look under each wheel well or better yet under the car... and see if you can take pics of the dampers. There's a label on each MR ones too and electric wire/plug should be visible on it.

How do you go from mode to mode? Should be a shock icon on your wheel. You will feel a "Distinct" change from mode to mode. Modes are normal,sport,weather,track,drag.Not trying to burst your bubble,just bbeing curious. Congrats on your car !

His first post said same wiring as tech. Maybe we can find more by the label number

I wish this was true. But I'm guessing the OP is mistaking the selectable steering effort with maneride settings. All GT 350's have selectable steerng effort. Magneride and IDC or integrated drivers controls for modes are only included in tech and trac etc. Per the ordering guide.

We know this, but just maybe Ford screwed up and installed MR suspension. They screw up often.

So let me get this straight... The OP is stating that he has a "base" car with the MR upgrade and paid "base" prices?

Yes, I know MOST of us know this. Not trying to be a know it all. Just offering another possibility as to what the OP is describing. Usually the simplest explanation is the correct one. :cheers:

My theory, steering mode.

keep in mind, a lot of stuff is not mentioned in the order guide
for example base/tech has engine oil coolers
base/tech has steel tower braces

also the true cost of MR is probably in the 1500 range; GM charges 1800 for MR but they probably get a volume discount (c7+camaro)

hoping OP is right, either way this car is steal of the century

For vehicles without MagneRide dampers (Base model) the suspension control button is replaced by radio MUTE. See GT350 supplement owners manual.

^Yeah that was my first guess... it looks like a radio mute button in shape of a "speaker that has a hash across it"

Got me excited for a min. Was about to change my order to a base model. Magneride is all I wanted from the track pack and of course the spoiler.

Maybe that's why the radio sucks because everytime he changes the suspension settings the radio mutes. :doh:
