Got my Barton Industries two-post shifter bracket installed Sunday and have been really enjoying the improved shift quality.
The 30 lbs. Steeda clutch spring and the Barton bracket totally transformed the driving experience for the better !
I really look forward to rowing through the gear in my 2017 V-6 fastback now.
Great bang-for-the-buck mods.

I’ve had this on my ā€˜18 for about 3 months and haven’t missed a shift since the install. Eliminated the need to muscle the 1-2 shift at high RPM or during harder turns. The bracket in this thread is a trans mount but doesn’t fit the 18+ unfortunately https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/wow-shifter-bracket.117869/

It’s cheaper, but I’m happy to have paid for this Barton bracket. Changed the car for me and delayed me spending 4x the price on an MGW.

Been eyeing this bracket for a while. How was the install? Did you have to drop the driveshaft?

Nope, you just need some extra patience and a few extensions to work around it. I got my car up fairly high on jack stands so I could lie on my back and be able to put both hands into the install area. Getting the OEM bracket off was a little annoying. There is a retention clip on one of the studs that I ended up yanking and bending to get off. But overall it’s a straightforward bolt on.
