Saw this debut in Pebble Beach.. great tribute for a great man. If anyone doesnt know the story behind this car, should look it up. The Friends of Carroll Shelby all contributed a part to this car. Guardsman blue is the bomb.. and that 5.0L Whipple

Sweet pics man, that's what I love about the Mustang. You got the new and the old and they all look sooo sweet. I especially love how the Shelby tribute car looks under those lights and of course the Mach 1

I've never been to one of these events... do they parade each of these in front of the crowd before the actual auctioning over the weekend?

I was out earlier this morning with a Ford race driver engineer (hot lapped in a GT500) and without revealing too much he did whisper to be on the lookout for a twin turbo Coyote, IRS, and more contemporary design (less retro but still w/ Mustang styling cues) for the upcoming S550. He also said Ford will seriously give the Z/28 a good challenge <hint hint>.... can't wait!

Damn good scoop man! Let's get this info up on that other thread about the engine options.... a lotta people be happy to hear this.
