How about this karma.....

I bought a new 2016 Camaro 2ss with the 20% deal last month. I haven't driven the Mustang since until today. Did a little spirited 1st and 2nd gear pull and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor.

I am a bad Lightning owner. I might drive it every two weeks. Otherwise it stays in the driveway.

I scuffed some of the outer edges of both passenger rims because the guide rails of the no touch spray autowasher I drove it through was pretty narrow. Just goes to show that no matter how many hours you're working, don't be a lazy ass. Just give her a good old fashioned hand wash.

I'll be taking better care of it this winter at least than I initially figured I would. Just picked up a used 2003 Ford Exploder 4x4 so that's at least going to keep me from driving through snow and fussing over constantly spraying off road salt from under it or sliding into something. I'll just beat up the Exploder this winter instead.

Traditionally, I always kept my cars clean...in 2015, for the first time, ever, I had a garage...and then I got married, moved into a new apartment, also with a garage, but the wife has the garage...for her Honda...I leave before her in the morning, and come home after her in the afternoon, so, it's easier that way...So the Mustang lives outside now...I'm used to it, never really had a garage before.

As for washing and waxing...I feel like this car will be sun baked at some point, because I just can't do it anymore...got real sick back in May, and have been dealing with health issues ever since, and I just don't have what it takes at this point to work that hard at keeping the car clean...sucks, but oh-well...

BMW X3 usually, but I also have a Saab 9-2x project (this is essentially a Subaru WRX with premium detail) I have been working on & driving.

I don't vacuum it...don't wash it...run 87 octane...did not modify anything...

But I do all my own routine maintenance! That should count for something...

I don't vacuum mine near as much as I need to. I feel bad about it but still don't do it.

Haven't driven mine since last Friday, haven't seen or touched it either. It's sitting outside unattended in the driveway.

Of course I'm thousands of miles away in Hawaii. :D

I'm a bad owner, I haven't driven my car for a week now. I decided it would be a good idea to run up stairs (and skip the first one), slipped off and destroyed my left Achilles tendon. A few days ago I tried to see if I could press the clutch, couldn't get it more than about half an inch before searing pain, so I won't be driving the car for at least 6 weeks once I'm out of this aircast, assuming I have the leg strength and healed tendon to even operate the clutch at that point.

To compound the pain, it had rain/snowed on the car before this happened and it's dirty as hell, and I'm too crippled to wash it.

I might just die.

took me almost a year to give my car a good clay, clean polish and wax. i was just lazy, my other car was ceramic coated and white, and didnt require the work this one does. i'll be out of my apt complex and in a house soon, and im def getting a beater..
I've NEVER used a clay bar, and only waxed one vehicle (of the 14 I've owned) one time.

I DD my mustang, but my truck sits under the carport at my apartment complex for weeks at a time without getting started. I would drive it in bad weather, but the rear window leaks, so I just drive the mustang all the time. It's in the shop now getting all the dings fixed, repainted, and the back window replaced to fix the leak.

Thankfully, my garage at the apartment is huge. It's a single car, but it is big enough that even my extended cab F150 fits in it, with my workbench. With the truck in there, there's about 5' between my workbench (which is 4' deep) and the truck, and about 4' between the door and the truck. Even with my kayak on saw horses next to the truck, I can still open all of the doors all the way and not hit anything. I'm quite amazed how big it is. I park the mustang in the garage when I'm there.

As for not washing, I have hand washed my stang twice in the year I've owned it. When it gets filthy, I run it through the automatic car wash.

I rolled into my garage door track this weekend, backed up after I did, looked at car and shut the door and got drunk I was pissed.
It's funny you put up this picture. This is actually how I came to buying a brand new Mustang GT. I had a 2002 Mustang GT Convertible and a 2003 Chev Avalanche. I was working on the Avalanche and broke the windshield pulling off some trim. I wasn't paying attention and backed up with the trickle charger still plugged in the truck. The cord went taught next to a ladder in the garage where it was plugged in and knocked the ladder over on my Mustang! I broke 2 vehicles in 10 minutes. I was so mad that I fixed both of them and put them up for sale labour day weekend.

They both sold that weekend and then I had the down payment for my new car! So good things can come from bad experiences. Ha ha.

I haven't washed my car in weeks ever since my gf decided to use my sponge/drying towel to wash/dry her dirty rims. Both of them are black as hell now and I've been to lazy to purchase new ones. I cringe every time I see my car now.
