Average clutch install price?

Finding a competent shop is my issue. Not sure what a dealership would charge to install an aftermarket clutch, but around here the issues is finding a shop I can trust to do it right. I've done them in the past on other Mustangs/trackers/Samurai's, etc.. I guess I can add an S550 to the list when the time comes.

Yeah we charge around 600.

I paid 300 when swapping from a MT-82 to a Magnum, including clutch and all that jazz.

I asked a local shop that rebuilt my sons automatic. He quoted me $350. But after finding all the missing bell housing bolts, including from the starter, I think I'd rather do it myself now.

Time consuming and swear-inducing, but if you have the tools and can jack the car up on some nice truck jack stands and support the transmission - worth doing yourself.

i have found quotes closer to 1000 for clutch, flywheel, clutch line. I have watched the cj install video, I'll pass on doing that one
