OH PS - we have a Mustang Owners day planned first weekend in October at the Ford heritage Garage in Dagenham (not Normally open to the public) Karen Batt will be handling invites......

This sounds like it could be a good day. My father in law worked there once upon a time so I could use this as a reason to come.

Would be great to talk to anyone in the know on what the future plans are for our beloved mustangs (power upgrades etc etc).

Thanks for the offer Manders. I'm near Macclesfield and I doubt the current steed would make it to Dagenham and back without me rebuilding the top end on the hard shoulder of the M1

Lol if you can get to Lichfield and if my car's free you're welcome to come down with me (assuming I get an invite) and you can leave yours on my drive.
