Those were my thoughts 3 mins surely must be a one off or did something minor and kept going, and also how many cars must have this trans. surely Mustang owners dont always baby there car and im sure there are people tracking it with no isues

i am personally going for a manual, but Auto was an idea i had toyed with but decided im just not ready to transition to auto yet lol

sorry for noob post and not looking at the transmission area still new to the forums and trying to fumble my way round.

Cheers for thoughts and feedback though guys

I havent heard anything besides this one cop car that seems to be spot light on bashing the new mustang. But i love my auto box. The rev matching blips on throttle are epic

Wouldnt read too much into that shitty piece of journalism..Josh Dowling writes dribble, usually aimed at bashing a Ford product and sticking his head so far up GMH's ass the lion roars..
100%.

Joshua has been, for as long as I can remember, the most anti-Ford biased journalist in Australia.

I've been told Ford are currently not interested in fixing this issue. It may seem like it's a case of giving preference to private buyers over fleet buyers.

I can confirm that issue is present on our cars as it happens to me every time after 2 sessions out on a track days. I have addressed this with dealer and he is going to be talking with a technical guy to see where we go from here as i have a car with a track mode option that i can not use a car on a track for more than half a day.

I have had a look my self and the oil cooler lines are next to the RHS cat which gets hot under full noise and oil cooler which does not look very big is sandwiched between the radiator and a/c condensor. I have found aftermarket larger oil cooler which might have to be the solution.

Thanks for the info, you wouldn't happen to be looking at the 'Mishimoto' oil cooler would you?

Awesome, it looks good to me, nearly bought it a couple times but figured I hadnt had an issue with heat yet, so I might hold off..... another concern is always the RHD fitment question.... If I knew it fits right 100%, I think id find it difficult not to buy one.

Definitely interested in your experience with the mishimoto oil cooler if you go down that path!

People that don't take their cars on track days will not have issues, there is no difference in RHD or LHD coolers as i have already done investigations and looked at my car inside and out. So it's safe to get one.
