After waiting 12+ months, my Guard Green GT was delivered to the dealer on 11 March. Happy Days? Nup!
1) Vehicle stuck in PD at the dealer with an Airbag fault light issue. No car;
2) Dealer advises ready to collect Thursday arvo;
3) Dealer phones when I'm in transit to collect on Thursday arvo to advise Airbag fault still not resolved. Cancels delivery. Dealer advises will be right for pick up Friday after auto electrician deals with fault. No car;
4) Dealer advises Friday airbag fault remains unresolved. Now needs a part to be shipped from Sydney. No car;
5) Just ratchet it up another gear, I get the "Your Pony Has Landed" email Friday arvo advising the car has just rolled into the docks - 1 full week after it was physically delivered to the dealer. Brilliant. No car!
6) Monday turn up at dealer to view car and discuss fault status etc..... Dealer refuses access to view car as it is still in PD having airbag fault resolved. Apparently a Ford Australia tech has been flown in to the dealer to try and sought out issue. PD "out of bounds". No car. Not happy Jan!
7) Ford "clearly concerned" (according to the dealer) at the issue given implications across broader Mustang product being delivered into AUS.
Appreciate the need for appropriate PD prior to delivery of vehicle, but refusing me access to view the vehicle and the week plus run around on what is actually going on is disappointing on the back of the 12 month + wait. Concern is that prior Mustangs had recall issues relating to defective airbags up to 2014 - hopefully no related issues have cropped up again. There is also some prior forum comment on airbag warning light issues, however they appear to have been swiftly resolved (unlike mine).

Interested if any other Aus Mustang owners have had any similar issues relating to airbag faults?
Cheers
