OK COTUS says 7 days. Ford chat says 2 days? any idea about this? The car was on a rail car this AM about 131 east of KC then needs trucked 50 miles to dealer.

I don't have any idea, but I am curious what Ford chat is? My car has been awaiting shipment for over 3 weeks now.

I just got a note from my dealer with the following from a Ford rep on the delay of transit:

“A few months ago we started seeing delays in deliveries because of severe railcar shortages. The shortage is industry wide and caused by winter damage to the railcars. It’s kind of been creating a magnifying effect because of backlog and although the logistics team has been working to try and make improvements, dealers and customer are asked to be patient. If you give me the VINs, I can designate them a priority but it doesn’t necessarily guarantee they will immediately be delivered as there are a lot of customers and vehicles in a similar situation. That’s all the information I have and I encourage you to just be as transparent as possible with the customer and try to keep them updated on progress.”
I guess I will just have to exercise patience for now.

My car has been pushed back until 5-20 now. I think if that #@&% is pushed back one more time I am canceling it. BS! 6 days short of 5 months if I got it on the 20th witch is also BS as the 20th is a Sunday!:headbonk::frusty:
Ok I want really do anything but I want to tell the SOB to stick it.

its carrier

I got the same info from multiple reliable (high level) Ford sources. They have been fielding complaints from dealers and customers all year. CSX has had shortages of carriers and locomotives and car transport is low on their priority scheduling. Sad but true, my car has been on its carrier for 3 weeks waiting for the train to be completed. ETA went from 4/30 to 5/22 now.

Mine has been "passing through" a place 70 miles away for a week now. On a truck none the less

I was thinking the same but called Ford Performance today and my original build week moved from 7/16 to a scheduled production day of 6/28. They now estimate delivery between 7/16 and 7/22. Good news! :)
