Order Update

I ordered a base GT, only with PP1 and Automatic in L. Blue. Nothing else.

Order date: 2/23/18
VIN Issued: 3/1/18
EDD (as of 3/3/18): 5/14/18 ...WTF?????

I'll keep posted dates to compare. Am trying to read Thread to understand timeline. I ordered a low-content V8 and have to wait 11 weeks!!! @#%$#!

Just for an update and analysis:

Order date: 2/23/18
VIN Issued: 3/1/18
EDD (as of 3/30/18): 5/12/18 (got separate COTUS update changing EDD)
Current State: In Production (as of 4/15/18)
In Order Processing: Completed on 4/16/18
Window Sticker Posted: 4/17/18
In Production: N/A

So here's a recent timeline for some folks who have orders in the pipeline. For analysis, the car is being delivered to Chantilly, Virginia (Northern Virginia). My guess is I'll get another update this week as Ford COTUS says production is a few days...from the look above, 8 days perhaps.(?) Will post a confirmation on that date when it comes. Am in no hurry, but sure getting excited!!!

Update: The Ford Gods have smiled upon me. After moving the EDD out 3 days yesterday I get a call today from my sales guy telling me the car should be in this afternoon, or early tomorrow. Three days ahead of the original EDD. :faint:

It's just not fair that Ford would play with my emotions like that. :eyebulge:

Just looked at the window sticker and it has a blend date of 4/25...hoping that the EDD is an over estimation...

What a wonderful email to wake up to, My Car has been delivered! Picking her up this morning!

Nice car I got the 400a Premium/active Exhaust.

I was on the verge of Royal Crimson- looks great in videos, but I could only look at one in person on a VERY overcast day and it looked brown, so I couldn't risk not liking it in the sun and went with the stunning, but somewhat too flashy Ruby Red.

Gotta tell ya guys, it's worth the wait. I've had my Royal Crimson stang for a week and 500 miles now and absolutely love it. Really fun to drive, gets lots of looks and comments, and on a 120 mile round trip to Tampa the other day, I got 23 MPG!!

- Production finished, and awaiting transit....
- Then a couple of hours later, in transit and EDD bumped from 5/4 to 4/30.

I just talked with my sales guy, and he said he's still hoping mine will show up today. But, who knows with the way dates move around.

I'm hoping I see a jump like yours...original was 5/17 down to 4/30....id love to get mine 17 days earlier...
