I have a base Auto GT with 3. 15s.. it seems that with just a light burn out.. the stock tires hold on the street.. with just a stab of pedal.. is this just the 3.15 cars?.. I bet with the rubber at the track that will probably be a different animal..

Jayme had to coach me on how to use the auto at the strip, but on the 235/50R18 Toyo Extensa HP's the dealer put on, it would spin a tiny bit. Got it to a 1.8 sixty, but we all know that's never enough.

1.9s to high 1.8s are about as good as you'll get on street tires. Light spin to get the dirt off the tires and a 1500-1800rpm launch OP.

I went last night.. it was around 90 degrees the DA was around 4200..
Best was a 2.10 60ft with a 13.20@ 107.. stock 235/18 with 40 in the rear tires.. anything more than a idle launch would just blaze the tire and start axle hopping.. car has 650 miles on the odometer..

Was disappointed till I saw other cars running..then it wasn't too bad..

A yellow GT with FI was there.. that was fast..10.5s @134..

i plan on getting some NT05 tires. i had them put on my G8 GT and it made a world of difference in grip. went from breaking my tires loose going into 3rd to just having a little bit of tire chirping. these stock 235 p-zeros are garbage tires lol. too thin and not soft enough for grip.
