I don't get that message in either link.

I get the very basic vehicle details with the placeholder build date of "30.11.0002" using the Etis website, and a Ford PDF document with a "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle" message with the window sticker link.

You may need to confirm the accuracy of that VIN?

EDIT: Try again with that new window sticker link that I have edited into my previous post.

Steps for VIN & Window sticker:

Once you have been provided with your VIN - there are 3 main stages:

Stage one: checking ETIS
About 2-3 weeks before the proposed build date - enter your VIN into ETIS.
When you will see the basic information appear (this is normally upodated on a Thursday in the US - Friday afternoon Aust time).
The information shown is the basic - Car type, colour, gearbox etc and it has a place holder build date of "30.11.0002". This is not the actual build date.

Note: If your VIN cant be found in ETIS - then your build date has not been entered or allocated and it is at least 2 weeks away. Just keep checking it until it appears.

Stage two: Window sticker
Then about 1 week out from the proposed build date - your window sticker will appear - it which will have a few more details about the car and the important "blend date" which is the actual build date.

Stage three: Etis

Finally about 2-4 days after the car is built -when you put your VIN into Etis - you will then get a full list of the build and options etc.

Note - the system only seems to update the information in ETIS on Thursday local time (Fridays Australia time). and the system are normally down on Sunday (local USA time) for maintenance.

Hope this helps people understand the process.

Hi Drew,

Thanks for the info.

When I plug the VIN into ETIS I get the basic information and it's in line with what I've ordered with a build date of 30.11.0002.

I think I'll pm Deysha and see what she comes up with. I played around with the window sticker links so I'll give yours a shot when I get home later.

Cheers!

So following your advice, I now have a window sticker and looking on etis I see that it says that it was built on the 23rd. Can't quite make sense of the "blend" number though.
Once a car is built how do you track to see where it is e.g. Up fitters, on a train and at the docks?

Your blend date is when your build process was scheduled to begin.

Between now and when your car is loaded onto a ship, your only method of tracking is via Deysha from Ford Service (preferably via PM on this forum). Deysha will usually get back to you within a week or so. She will need your VIN number.

Once it's booked to be loaded onto a ship, you'll be able to determine what ship via the manifest links provided in other threads. You can then track the ship's progress via one of the many ship tracking sites out there.

Etis should populate with further details about your build shortly, if it hasn't already.

Hi Drewbo,

Tried your link again and voila, the window sticker appeared. It shows a Blend Date of 24/11/2015. I've also had an enquiry with Deysha (1 day only) so I'm not expecting a reply from her for a few more days or so.

I still haven't had any email, phone call or any contact from Ford Australia other than through my Facebook enquiry.

Thanks for the link!

Cheers,

Jim

I just got an interesting reply from Deysha:

"I checked on it and it has scheduled to build, Art. It has an ETA of 12/25/15 to the port in Baltimore, which is subject to change. Your order is scheduled to build in the week of 12/7/15. Also, the link to the window sticker has been discontinued, so I won’t be able to share it with you like I have with others before. Keep checking with me. Have a nice day!"

Not sure why this is.

Looks like Deysha is the best point of contact as previously mentioned.

She's gonna be busy!

Poor Deysha! It will be a full time gig just replying to all the messages asking for updates!

I just received a reply from Deysha as well. 6G PONY is in production and will soon go to the upfitters! Woo hoo!

Got to start looking for the TSW Bathurst Wheels - silver finish!

It would appear that the original "official" Ford link to window stickers (inventory.ford.com) isn't working anymore, however other links (such as the one I posted a few posts back) still seem to be operating.

Ah ok. Yeh the official one never really worked for me, I just thought it was because it wasn't available yet.

http://researchmaniacs.com/Ford/TrackFactoryCarOrders.html for my VIN still displays this:

Finally got a window sticker this morning!!

Do I interpret this blend number - 120151216 - as possible build 16th Dec?

Is it really happening? :D

More probable than possible (and yes, you are reading it correctly).

My car has a blend date of 10/12.........it's currently 3.26pm on the 10/12 in Flat Rock.

Wonder if it's rolled off the line yet.

Would be cool if there was a camera set up at the plant to automatically snap your car at the end of the production process and email it to you in real time.
