Melbnut.....I am starting to get just a tiny bit of a feeling that Ford Oz may not be entirely honest and fair with the introduction of the mustang.....keep it quiet though....we wouldn't want any one else to start thinking the same thing....people may get upset....

shhhhhh Bob its a secret... did you know the car is actually made by tata... hence the delay. Same. Have (very) basic details showing up in Etis which I understand won't update until after production, but keep drawing a blank with the window sticker.
Hopefully it will pop up in the next week or so.

Deysha told me that a build date is not allocated yet.....that 30.11.002 in etis is the same number that all cars have had from ford for years, it is a plug code to say that a vin has been raised, but no build date is yet issued....I was given a build week starting 7th of dec....I guess a window sticker will appear around the start of december.....that hasn't stopped me checking twenty times a day though......

After being told my car was in the first batch from my dealer I wonder how this occurs given that cars are already enroute.

Peambros...you are technically in the first batch....that is cars ordered before the end of March 15...and delivered before May 16...
Mine, like many others, were ordered in 2014 and still not yet built, but will be delivered before May and therefore in the first batch.
The first few ship loads is a different kettle of fish....thats were the order/order time debacle raises its ugly head...if you ordered in March, there are a hell of a lot of cars ordered before yours that are in build limbo at this stage..

First batch was always order by 6 March and receive the car October 2015 to February 2016. Well at least thats what I was told, never heard anything about May.
