Got the rest of my Hurricane exhaust done, headers and 100 cell cats. The tone and note has changed completely. Their catback alone is probably the deepest note out there. However added the headers and cat it's now turned into a screaming sporty V8.

The sound also gets louder as you get into the higher rpm where as the catback would taper off. There is also no drone on the hwy. The power increase is awesome too! The car goes so much harder now!

Happy to meet up with anyone in the Hills area Sydney for a quick demo

The deep note appeals to me but a loud screaming note does not. Although if the screaming only starts when you go flat out that is what you would expect. A nice deep note for normal driving is what I would be after. It would be good to hear.

It's not crazy loud but it commands attention. You are in Adelaide right?

So the deal I was looking at for a Borla S fell through, I'm back considering options again. D'oh! :)
phil545 is the Hurricane a 3" right?
Does Harrop reckon you'll want a 3"'for the SC?

Cheers, next weekend FTW!

There's been a Lamborghini going past my place regularly recently - think they have a friend down the street from us - and it makes me realise how much more volume a car CAN have... and maybe _should_ :)

Met up with Phil at Liverpool Exhaust when he was picking it up and I can vouch that it sounds great. I don't think you have a huge choice when adding headers as far as sound goes but it isn't over the top loud and certainly not police bait.

I had a walk through their factory and they are a real quality product too with their clear ceramic coating and clean dent free bends. I will be getting the same system on mine when it gets here, definitely good to support an aussie product that is made here too.

So their cat back will fit the stock system? I am planning on getting a hurrican cat back system and install it by myself first.

I'd be happy to take you up on that offer at some point. No rush though as my car is at least 8 months away so I'm unlikely to order an exhaust for at least another 6 months LOL.

You only ordered on the 02/10/16. Has your salesman and/or dealership promised you something they won't be able to deliver in 8 months as there's at least a 12 month wait minimum.

Has anyone seen the pricing for a Corsa catback from Bestexhaust in Canberra, talk about Mustang tax. They want $4100.00 for sport catback with black tips, same system can be bought from the States for $1500.00 US including shipping.
