Yes, but I won't give any details or names or anything. Just read some other posts about blown engines and just feeling like I have a pit in the bottom of my stomach. Yes 90% of the time the tunes will prob have no ill effect on the car, but to be in that 10% would really just suck and I feel for anyone who has to deal with that

Wow!!

Basically the sport mode changes the shift points and improves the throttle response. A good tune will do just that all the time plus add additional power.
Right, the biggest gains come from removing most of the torque limit up front.

Other than that, it hoses your fuel economy right? I like being able to switch into and out if sport mode when I need the power, the Cobb doesn't allow that, I would have to use the cruise control to swap maps, right?

I am seriously considering it but I'm probably going to wait until I hit a higher mileage and in sure there's no issues lingering.

To the contrary. My fuel economy has not suffered at all. The driving modes are a nice toy. The only ones I use are "track and snow/wet". As far as the AP, you are correct. You would have to use the cruise control buttons to change on the fly. Many people that use this device enjoy it.

I still believe that as long as you are using a quality tune that you are fine.

So far I have only seen two. The first had that JMS gizmo installed and the other only had a CAI installed.

What happened with joe stangs? How did he blow his engine with a tune+ tune? What was the issue? Can someone link me if there is a thread about it.
