Hang on, is this going to get me banned for slagging off another car? err, how do I get out of this, I know....I had a Morris Marina Coupe once, there I said it. Mind you, it was the twin carb model.
I won't ban you this time........but only 'cos my neighbour (when I still lived at home with my parents years ago) had a metallic blue Marina Coupe :D

He always kept it immaculate and had it for years. He eventually changed it for a brand new Mk4 Escort RS Turbo

Certainly got plenty this morning.

Son asked me to take him to the bus stop so he could get to college. Thing is, by the time I got the Stang out the drive he was too late for the bus so I had to take him all the way.

I dropped him off and on the way back I got caught up in school traffic and getting serious attention.

Of all the thing I heard shouted out such as 'Nice car mate' 'Woh look at that!' 'Oh my god' the one that always makes me smile is when they simply shout out 'MUSTANG!!'

A year and 2 months I have ahd this car and still, I love the attention

Got a thumbs up from a kid sat in the passenger seat of a car overtaking(!) me today. Love to encourage kids who like cars, but couldn't think how to response, so opened up the throttle and exhaust.... :ford:

Was out and about yesterday and pulled into a car park. Got out the car and this timmid little lad walked up to me and said "excuse me, can I take a photo of your car?" His face lit up a million ways to Sunday when I said yes. His parents were sitting in an old Golf giggling away to themselves.

I'm starting to think the Mustang is a poster child or something.

I am genuinely surprised the amount of attention it gets. Everywhere I park if I don't run away from it then someone wants to talk to you about it. Passengers in cars pointing their phones at it while driving, petrol stations are just hilarious. There is a lot of genuine love from the public.
I've owned a few previous 'interesting' cars, none of them have generated quite the same level of public affection. It's great and I'm very happy to talk to them all about it.
