Long tube headers x pipe stock mufflers Jlt and a tune. 431hp 390tq. A little disappointed in these numbers granted it was literary 98 to 100 degrees inside the dyno Bay so Im hoping that's why I didn't make the numbers I expected. It's a little disappointing when u see cars with the same mods as u making more power. Hoping it was the heat and maybe the stock mufflers had a play in it. But I actually love the sound. Yes it's raspy, u can really hear the x pipe but in my opinion it sounds good probably even better when I finish the rest of the system with the ARH mufflers. Quiet when cruising but loud when u get on it. Turns heads. Plus every car that was in there made lower numbers then expected. One guy with the same mods as me made less horsepower then I did but there was a stage 3 Roush that made way more power then expected 600+ on his second run. Crazy I don't understand that. I thought when I put the headers and x pipe on I was going to notice a huge change but it's minimal maybe it the heat idk. Maybe with some cooler temp hopefully I'll be blown away.

In that heat I'd take those #'s.

The mods a fine; who's the tune by? Are those numbers SAE or STD?

430-440 and 400-410 seem to be about the norm for LT's, intake and tune and you are hitting some extreme temps and humidity that's going to bring the numbers down.

Playing the 'compare dyno numbers' game is somewhat an effort in futility - even though we all like to do it.

What was the baseline?

^^^ Exactly. What was the baseline?

Without that it's anyone's guess how much power your car makes.

don't get hung up on dyno #'s.

my car made 340's stock, 380's with headers and tune, and is now going 9.5's....

it's a tool, our dyno has always been stingy.

just use it for comparison

Was the 40hp increase to 380 just with headers and lund tune? or did you have intake as well? ARH or SW headers?

tune and headers.

both brands actually, we did a back to back on the arh x, with no cat back, and sw h with no catback,

same dyno, same day, 3 hours of each other. 3 guys swapping back out to get the closest dyno readout we could.

both companies make a quality product and you can't go wrong with either

dyno's were nearly identical.

if you like the arh, you can't go wrong with them!

Thanks man. I noticed the difference when I raced a friend of mine. He has a 14 kooks longtubes x pipe tune cold air mack mufflers. When we raced on the highway in 3rd he pulled my ass when I just had a cold air and tune. Now with the ARH headers and the x pipe i pulled on him by a car sometimes a fender sometimes neck and neck. Sometimes he would jump or I would. I diffently notice the difference now. Tuner said I should also free up some power when I finish the system and get rid of the factory mufflers. Stock mufflers are restrictive

Those numbers seem pretty spot on for your mods. I wouldn't be disappointed at all.

I don't think mufflers are going to change it much, just drive and enjoy it

go to the track and see what your mph's are
