Weird, mine went together slightly differently than what is pictured in your post. When installed, my part of the H pipe that connected the dual exhaust the "-" in the "H" was positioned so that end was closer to the engine as opposed to your photo. With my catback, this was the only way since those ends were much more tapered to fit with the stock sleeve/clamp and pipe coming from the cats. I believe the longer end of the h pipe was still driver side, but my H needed to be flipped from what you posted. Otherwise the tapered ends of the H would not fit with the 3in tubing of the ARH piping.

Edit - Maybe they have changed the catback slightly during its production run or maybe because I don't have a full system with long tube headers.

This picture is pretty much how mine went on for my car.
Yes, the pic I just took. My first install was wrong as the H was not labeled. The longest piece connects to the next pipe toward muffler. Thanx !

I'm currently in the middle of installing the catback but the mufflers are hanging pretty low. Any tips on how to get them not to hang?

I had the same problem. I virtually took every thing off 3 times trying to figure it out and multible times of loosening clamps and retightening while applying upward force...Bottom line they don't fit nicely tucked as others do,,,Keep messing with it and you'll get it closer.

I had the same issue with my MBRP. I had to loosen it a half dozen times and twist the mufflers around and keep pushing up as I tightened the clamps. I had heard so many good things about this exhaust, I'm surprised that so many folks are having issues with fitment.

Did they do a re-design and somehow make it fit worse?

Think I was one of the early adopters.

Thanks guys. I ended up holding up the axleback with a jack while I tightened all the bolts. I don't think fitment is an issue it's just the stock catback + resonator is only held up by the 2 hangers where the axleback goes. The H-pipe and connector pipes are kinda free hanging while you're putting the axleback on.

my MBRP hung low at first, I loosened it up, put a jack on the midpipe and tightened it when it was higher, went up an inch or 2.

This is my first post after reading all 23 pages of this thread and I've decided this is the exhaust I want to go with.

That being said, is it best to get it from ARH directly, or Hypermotive, Lethal, etc?

Hit up all the vendors on here and see who gives you the best price. Beefcake, Lethal, Hypermotive etc.
