Has anyone had bad luck with American Racing Header customer service? I bought a set of their headers used from a forum member and I called to order missing parts. I was told to send an email with the parts needed and they would put together a quote. That seemed a bit odd to me but I did as the requested. I contacted them three more times and was told that they would get to it that day. It has been two weeks and they still have not gotten back to me. It is not a big issue so I will be fine without the parts but the poor customer service will certainly make me look elsewhere if I purchase a set of headers in the future.

Have you followed up with a phone call?

I'm not one to wait around for slow emails. I pick up the phone to get things done.

I have experienced nothing but great customer service from them. Very quick turn around on emails.

I have called them 4 times. I spoke to the same guy three times and the other person I spoke to said they only sold full systems and call a dealer. I am glad you have had good luck with them but I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

After getting a good quote via pm from them for an install of a full system, I ordered one. When I called to set up an appointment they said they would get back to me. They never did. I called and pm'd a handful of times after that with no response. Had the install done elsewhere.

Headers sound great, make great power, but it was not a perfect fit as some seem to say.

My experience with them has been good I still need to contact them about my axle back not fitting well.

Sorry about your experience with them. I've dealt with them a few times (all on the phone) and have had good luck with them. Their headers fit great on my car and are very good quality. I also had a set on my 2010 Camaro.
