I don't know how they are marketing the product in the screenshot above, but this device was designed to do the exact opposite of what is being discussed. The original intent of the product was to soften the hit of the PD blower and bring the power in slower with the added feature of being able to dial in a boost number up top.
I swore I emailed them about using it and the effectiveness by using it on a Centri, but I will email just to get a response. I do see what you mean though. Thanks

Here is what they say?

you don't need a $350 waistgate You can get a used bov/waistgate or you can get one on eBay for $50 works just fine. you can use a stock vortech or procharger bov. no fabrication needed. pulley $100. no expensive boost controller needed

If the ebc does it what it is suppose to then you really only need one tune. There is no need to run different tunes unless changing fuels or want a tune with more or less timing. I run the same Lund tune for 8-14 psi.
You just can't go higher than your fueling/octane needs. The tune will always add the right amount of fuel spark etc provided the fuel system can keep up.

Wow, And I assume you have no knock issues? To be able to run the same Tune for 8-14 ponds of boost says quite a bit about what you can or cannot do. But, I assume you use high octane and maybe a little Octane Booster when you go from 8 to 14lbs boost? Or are you on E85/ Thanks for your insight.

I still wouldn't try 14 on pump: I run methanol.

I would to but it's interesting to see how far you can push 93 on our engines.

So here's a fun fact. if you go fill your tank with GT260 (100 octane) on your 93 tune, how much boost you think it will handle?

I'll tell you the answer is the same amount if you flashed the GT260 tune and ran GT260.

some tuners use more spark than others, but guaranteed you will not have more spark advance in the 93 tune vs the GT260 tune.

Water/Meth give you the some of the same benefits of E85 save for the cost (now you are adding WMI on top of 93 making it cost more) But you get Cylinder cooling with the water and Octane with the Methanol. Problem is it should be used sparingly, it's pretty impossible to know if all the cylinders are getting the same amount in them (with the obvious caveat of running a direct port setup). It SEEMS like the EB unit is getting it pretty even to my unscientific eyeball measurement.

Hey, I was wanting to know if anyone with a Centri is running an Electronic type Boost controller, to Run the centri like a Turbo. Like if you install a 12 psi pulley and have like 3 different program tunes loaded on your ngauge or what ever device like for 7psi, 10psi, 13psi . When you want to change your boost level, you would change your Electronic BOV boost controller to that psi setting and then load the applicable tune for that boost and be on your way. Is this possible?
All the information I have read over the years state that the IATs will be higher even at the lower boost levels. Even though you are only seeing your 7psi of boost at the lower setting the blower is spinning and compressing enough air to make 13psi.

I know, I just wanted to see if people were using them to get their opinions on use. Thanks
