$10,000 ADM is ridiculous and a perfect example of why the public absolutely despises car dealers and what they do to the overall car buying experience. Paying this is no different than throwing ten thousand dollars out into the middle of the street. The thought of walking into a car dealer and talking price on a new vehicle is enough to make most people cringe. There is no reason why this has to be. This grease ball industry has earned their stereotype. I always feel like I need a good shower when I walk out of one of those rotten places.Best I could do was give up on California. Have a 16' ordered from Oklahoma, where I only had to pay the dealers $1,000 program buy-in. So in the end, I am basically paying a $1,000 - $2,000 markup after plane flight and gas to get the car back.
Best I could do in California was a $10k ADM.
