That, and all crap like it is coming out of mine. This car's biggest failing as a track car is the lard and I intend to get rid of anything like this that is strictly fluff and serves no useful purpose. If I can save even 10 lbs off the front end getting rid of this kind of junk I'll be happy.

I'm thinking after the 3/36 is done, I'll go with a Ford racing blower and headers. That should wake it up a little.
That's the bumper to bumper not the power trane warranty. The power trane is 5 yr / 60k miles

I think a powdercoated engine cover would look good, but definitely an unnecessary expense.

Don't try to powder coat your engine cover, it will melt in the oven.

It was the first free mod I did. I don't understand how people put money into painting them and putting them back on... they are just not attractive to me at all.

The engine covers on the 2018s are ugly as hell. The 2015-17s look much better.

removed the engine cover since i put the FRPP stage 2 on a few months ago. Didint care for the look of it, its now been in my room sitting there still ugly

Just took mine off and may leave it off. I like looking at the runners and components.
Notice any added engine noise? Word was that the engine cover was changed to help reduce the direct injection noise.
