I wish hks made exhaust for the eb. You guys think it would be possible to do a custom with some dual hks exhaust that are meant for the evo x,300zx or a single made for a supra? Lol

Buy a DP that you like, an HKS muffler, and have a custom single made. I'm still thinking of making my own single just because its soo easy on these IRS cars. I'm used to solid axle cars where you have to run the pipe over the axle which is such a pain.

Really considering Cost. So far ive came up with cutting out the oem cat, using a 2.25" 100 cell race cat to be put in its place, weld in whatever bungs is necessary to keep the sensors in. Then working up a single out of 2.5" diameter pipe. Will there be a huge difference in flow of a 3" vs a 2.5". Note im sticking with the oem turbo.
Also for those who noted weight reductions, post up your numbers!

And i will be using mufflers similar to the ultimate racing setup to keep it quiet but still keep flow.
Also does anybody have any exhaust clips? I cant seem to find any.

I've got a off-rode downpipe and i installed a qtp cutout right before the downpipe ends, just before the big resonator. I'm able to open and close the cutout, huge s/o to qtp for making wireless key fobs. haven't dynod the gains but i def. feel the difference. huge difference!!
my setup,

I cant tell if its very smooth and tame or if its quiet. Is that why you ended up taking the muffler off? Also do you have a catted downpipe or decat?
Its very tame with the resonator and the muffler, A little too tame for my liking. so I made a a little louder setup with the turndown instead of a chrome tip. I only replaced the back section of the Ultimate Racing exhaust. At this point I have the off road no cat DP. the videos show various setups. one with the stock DP, another with the UR Uncatted DP, another with the tail section with a straight pipe (because I was painting the valence, and the newest one is with the small Dynomax Race muffler.

Well added up the parts list:
All 304 stainless 2.5" single, with a black 3.5" exhaust tip, magnaflow 14716 muffler, vibrant 17930 resonator, and up on the downpipe a mandrel bending solutions 100 cell race cat in place of the oem cat.
Should see a damn nice increase in flow, a drop weight, and still be quiet.
All in at 420.94$ plus labor cost for the mock up by someone who can weld stainless and do a good job.

nice! I have a 3" version of that Maganflow muffler on my Camaro. Very light muffler. That should be a good setup for stock turbo setups and save a good deal of weight and still be pleasing to the ears.

Please post a video of this. Looking for a tame single setup that is light but not ricer loud.

I deleted my exhaust mounted video, but check these out for a single thinwall stainless 3" with stock cat and 3" vibrant resonator. Mostly you can only hear the other cars. Brakes were garbage and toast after a few laps, so I had to slow down.
