Any orders placed in South FL yet?

Hello all,

Anyone in south Florida, specifically in Palm Beach, "successfully" order a 15 Mustang yet? I have not been able to find a trustworthy dealer. I tried Al Packer but kept getting the run around about when the car would be ordered, so no DORA or VOC right away. The person who orders was not there and couldn't give me definitive pricing. They did not seem to know how to order, yet they wanted a 2K deposit! No way! :thumbdown: I then tried Wayne Akers but they wanted a non-refundable deposit. Hearing this, I just walked out. Hopefully someone out there has a recommendation if they've already ordered, otherwise I may just wait until the cars are readily available. My hunt continues.... :headbonk::frusty:

I can recommend Countryside Ford of Clearwater but that's a few hours away, no money down and I can see my order online in the system and the Ford reps here on the forum confirm the order in the system.

I believe that you can order a 'vert now, but it won't be built until Job #2.

Thanks clink! I'm waiting to hear back from a few dealers down here. Clearwater is a bit of a drive but I'll keep that in mind in case I get desperate! Haha! :rant:

I am heading out tomorrow to order mine at Autonation Ford, in Margate I spoke with Mike last week, he was not very up to date with the ordering procedure, but his supervisor, I think his name was John helped. mike called me Friday and they placed another order last week.I told them I am buying using xplan and he said no problem. It went smooth . Ordered a DIB premium gt with PP and enhanced security . Paid $500, refundable deposit , got the x-plan price that saved me $2166.
All in all im happy with the deal , so I recomend these guys . I hope it works out for you too

That's awesome! I'll have to give them a call and maybe stop by tonight or tomorrow. By any chance do you recall Mike or John's last name? Also did they give you a DORA or VOC receipt?

Yes I got the order number and they will email me what I believe is DORA so I can track the order.
My sales guy was Mike Kendred and the manager is Edward (Eddie.)

I was finally able to put my order in. Turns out I get a call from the "Performance Specialist" from Wayne Akers. Complete 180 from the first guy I spoke with there. Was able to put my order in with $500 deposit and x-plan price! Thanks for those that chimed in. Now we wait............... :kickrock:

Nice, sounds good and a nice car on order as well! For the $$ why not get the ESP? It's cheap enough I say go for it!
