My car only has 1k miles on it. A few times I got on it hard 1, 2, 3rd gears were fine, went to hit 4th, felt like a stopper was there, I hit rev limiter and had to try a 2nd time to get it into 4th, and it went in.

This happened with a few hard launch tests.

I have the Roush Phase 1 supercharger for what its worth (in regards to how fast I roll through gears)

You guys have any issues getting into 4th? Would a different shifter help this?

Thanks in advance.

It should get smoother as you break it in some more. I don't have issues with 4th, but my 5th gear feels a bit notchy. I read the MGW is the best shifter out there for racing.

My Trans really started breaking in around 2500 miles. I went with a blowfish bracket. Since I've installed it I've had 0 bump grinds and 0 lockouts.

3rd and 4th gear have an extremely long fork in relation to most manual transmissions. While it is made of steel, its still very likely to flex under a hard shift, especially at high rpm shifts. On top of that, it uses plastic fork pads that are prone to break.
