Got the springs in, ride hight looks great, before and after, roughly a 1" drop all the way around. Great job Steeda.

My initial impressions of these springs.
Too me, they don't seam as stiff in the first part of travel compared to the PP springs. The car almost feels smoother, more supple with less tire bump noise. On a larger impact at speed, you can feel the extra stiffness, but no where near what I was expecting. (that is a good thing) In comparison to my 12 GT500 with Eibach's Pro its not as abrupt of an impact. I question weather these are actually 25% stiffer then the stock PP springs, too me, I would say more like 15%.

Damping with stock struts/shocks:
Surprisingly the stock strut/shocks do a decent job of controlling the springs (rebound and compression) The car is not bouncy and feels very planted. The only area I feel it could use more damping would be with washboard (multiple bumps in a row) type impacts. I can see an adjustable strut upgrade in the near future. Overall, I think you will be ok with the stock struts 80% of the time.

Nose dive and squat, seams to have improved slightly, I'd say 10%-15%

Note: I used the stock boots and bumpstops, although I was tempted to trim the bumpstops, I left them at their stock height. I have not experienced any harsh bottoming out as of yet.

Overall I tested on freeway, washboard (bad roads) and normal condition roads and came away very satisfied. I was concerned of too harsh of a ride, but in all but the worst condition roads, I almost don't notice the spring swap.
The best I can describe it, is the car feel more SOLID.....but not STIFF, if that makes sense. My 82yr old father drove the car after the spring install and he also felt the same way. During the spring install, he kept commenting on how I was going to make the car too stiff LOL (he drives a 2013 S197, stock)

Alignment:
I haven't got the car aligned yet, I'm waiting for my wheels too come in the next couple weeks. They have different offsets and widths, so I wan't to make sure it is done with the wheels I intend to keep on there.
I have not noticed a huge difference in camber or toe changes (front or back) the car feels exactly the same as it did before the spring swap. In fact it still pulls ever so slightly to the left, just as it did before.

Steeda, thanks for a great product, I look forward to what you come up with in the strut/shock area.

Overall: Satisfied

Sorry, didn't take before and after pics, I figured there were already quite a few on here that represented the drop correctly. Plus I started late, and worked in the dark (don't recommend) I'll post up some better shots after my new wheels are on, here are a couple of afters. Before 28.5 / After 27.5 from ground to fender lip.
Looks great, and thank you for the write-up!

I got to test drive mine after the install of springs and sway bars the other night. Been sitting since then cause it hasnt stopped raining. The car corners much flatter and feels like its in the road not on the road if that makes any sense. I didnt really test out any bumps as we have pretty good roads here in TN. This isnt my daily driver so thats no concern plus its still a smoother ride that my old Factory Five Coupe. The front settled more after this picture cause of the spirited driving.

Awesome to hear :)

Hey guys, first time poster here... I just got done installing my Steeda sport springs on my s550 and I LOVE THEM! They ride EXACTLY the way my PP springs rode and handle SIGNIFICANTLY better! There is NO ride sacrifice that I can feel but the improvement in handling is fantastic! This is the first time I have used Steeda springs and I am VERY satisfied! On to the pics...

If anyone is on the fence about these springs, I hope these pics will help you pull the trigger.
Just had mine installed and every word above is true. My GT PP has been transformed into a real handler, which is really important here in SoCal what with all the canyons and backroads that I love so much. Before, the car was unsettled, especially in the rear, on turn in as the body moved on the suspension, decreasing confidence in entering, holding, and exiting a turn. No more. Residual roll is gone and turns just EXECUTE. S-turns no longer confuse the chassis. And there is absolutely NO DEGRADATION in ride quality. The car tracks straight over road undulations with very little if any steering input. Grand Total cost to me including the springs (from Hypermotive), and installation and alignment (by a dealer in not-so-cheap SoCal) was $680, which was very well spent. It makes the car MUCH more fun and safe at the same time.

Oh, and it looks cooler now, too. (Pics later, was too busy driving)

Homerun, Steeda! And thanks to Hypermotive and Vista Ford in Oxnard CA

I'd say, Get off the fence and get off NOW! There is NO detriment other than the cost, the ride is the same as the PP but more controlled. Hopefully they work well with non-PP cars' underpinnings.

I'm hoping to do a few pics tomorrow. Despite getting through a four-hour infusion and the cold weather, I cleaned her up today after a lot of hard driving yesterday. Your welcome to come see it. PM me if you are interested.

These lower it 1" right? Would love to know someone's thoughts on a non PP GT with these.

Here's the car earlier this morning when it was 28 degrees (in SoCal, mind you):

Car looks great. I really want these springs but the front still looks to high and maybe it's just the front tires being a little bit shorter than the rear that's messing with me.

It's also on an incline exaggerating it a bit, but, yes, there is more clearance in the front compared to the rear, as was true with stock; they both came down the same amount. To me that doesn't matter as I was doing it for the handling, which is now far better.

What do you think about the ride quality compared to stock pp springs.

Extremely similar but with less float. Not harsher at all.
