The issue with the front of the bonnet alignment has been raised many times on here but after looking at this [ame] the issue really stands out, on these vehicles. It's a pretty positive review of course as expected but on both the triple yellow and the ox white this quality issue in my eyes is very poor.

During the video at 32-34 sec, 1m 24sec, and near end depicts the issues I am talking about.

I will certainly be looking at this when I pick up mine in the near future.

Yeah I see what you mean ... Maybe just the angle of the footage? But looks really out of alignment on the right hand side (facing the car)

Thanks for highlighting this.

Do the dealers actually rectify this, or do they just say thats the build quality and expect us to fix it ourselves?

Has anyone had this issue and has the dealer fixed it for you before you took delivery?

If my car comes with box gap (I mean bonnet pinch) - which I am cynically fully expecting it to - I will have the dealer sort it at the first service.

Bonnet pinch shouldn't take more than an hour tops to sort out.

Maybe it's just me, i dunno, I know it ain't a big deal, but if it's noticeable to us, it's surely noticeable to the dealership even more , so they shouldn't be presenting a product to a customer that they know isn't 99.9%. They're doesn't seem to be any bonnet pinch problems on the pics in the brochure! lol

When I collected my car, the salesman gave me the original window sticker and all the forms and cards he could find in the car relating to its build and journey. He is a mustang nut and said he knows most owners like all that paraphernalia.
One of the forms is the final qc form carried out at Baltimore before it is handed over to wwl. Its called the vehicle exceptions worksheet and lists all the cars defects and the repairs required and who is to carry them out. Our car had a clean bill of health and didnt need anything, but the various classifications of defects is very interesting.
One of the repair codes is called "industry acceptable" and is listed as " An exception that falls within industry standards and deemed to be acceptable to the customer."
Another is called "Adjust......Repairs that include fixing misalignment concerns."

Maybe they get these two confused now and then.

So in other words if the customer doesn't care or notice, they don't have to fix it....lol

Had a misaligned passenger door and had no problems asking City Ford to fix it and they shipped it to a Panel Repairer and I waited a day and all good on pick up day.

I've seen a couple with with a misaligned bonnet in dealers. This one in the video probably just looks even worse because it's white... Makes me think Magnetic is the colour to go for! :D
