That's the same pump Adam posted about. It's the RTR/XDI pump that'll be available around the first of the year.

Ooops. My bad.
When I read this "Nostrum employs this high-pressure pump upgrade from DI-Extreme/Mustang RTR to feed up to 1,000 horsepower of EcoBoost performance." I was certain it was a different pump because Adam said (about the pump he is working with) that for big numbers you would still need Auxiliary port injection. But your right, the brand of the pump is the same.

This article is pretty confusing. It says good for 1000HP, but the people working closely with it, say its only good for stock turbo upgrades which is >450WHP, which answer is actually correct?

I think that was talking about the 3.5L Ecoboost. Same pump on both engines maybe?

I think XDI is working on another pump with more capacity, but the one they show in the pic is the same one Adam has shown us. Perhaps they meant it's 1,000 hp capable with the combo, injectors and pump? I agree with Tony in that it's a bit confusing.

I believe they are talking about the pump paired with their larger direct injector set to supply up to that amount of power.

That too but the 1000+ would be this:

The pump—which JR runs on his Ultimate Fun Haver F-150—will deliver 35 percent more fuel and when paired with the Nostrum direct injectors it pushes the horsepower potential of the EcoBoost platform into the four-digit range.
I was assuming it meant the 6-cyl ecoboost could hit 1000+ theoretically with that fueling setup. It says something like 800hp on the 4 cyl.

That makes no sense, injectors have no bearing on how much fuel a hpfp can flow. You can throw injectors that can support 3000whp on the car, if the hpfp can only flow 400whp worth of fuel, it will run out of fuel at 400whp, and need aux fueling at that point. This needs to be cleared up, that article says 1000hp, the other guys say stock turbo levels, big difference.
