I went the opposite route.... exhaust is already obnoxious being 3" so anonymity was already gone. Picking her up today, as the small details (mirrors, vents, etc.) needed to be finished up.

If you like anonymity, don't buy a muscle car. If you do, definitely don't mod the exhaust.
There's enough room between complete anonymity and eyeball-searing "look at me" to fit a pretty capable muscle car. Even for exhaust mods there's room between stock and obnoxious/ear-bleeding.

You just have to understand that the saying "if some's good, more's better, and too much is just enough" doesn't know what it's talking about. Too much is simply too much, and even more is not always better. Wanting to be noticed less is kind of the 'sleeper' mentality, promising less than what can be delivered.

Damn...that's one sexy 'stang!

You know, for a moment, I did consider getting a Challenger just to get purple.

Comp Orange stands out, but I like it. Last S197 was Grabber Orange.

Never lost my car in a crowded parking lot, LOL.

I'm in the same situation about my "sometime soon" GT purchase.
The triple yellow is stunning but I'm too old for that type of attention.

I love black but not so sure I want another job in keeping it clean.

The magnetic looks classy in person and is not too attention getting.
Choice is Magnetic or Black for me.

I have the black. It's not too bad for cleaning. Really only looks dirty from 10 feet or maybe less if you've got a good coat of glaze or wax under the dust and use quick detailer on it after a wash. Looks stunning when it's clean though. And if you have a garage for it you'll be fine. I don't, and if it's not multiple rain days in a row I don't even put it under the car port.

Buy a Prius. My neighbor has had one for three years, and I just noticed it two months ago.

Hate to be the dumb guy here but who are you afraid of? If the police don't care then there is no problem. I had a guy yesterday flip me off for no reason so I pulled up next to him, flip off back while grinning and revved my engine through the entire light. What's he gonna do? Be a jackass?

I think Lightning Blue, White, Silver, Magnetic and Black (and Guard & DIB if still offered) are the more understated colors of the lineup, with blue obviously being the loudest of that group. All the colors look great on this car, though I still don't love Grabber Blue. Silver was my (close) 2nd choice because it shows the lines of the car so well and stays looking clean longer than pretty much anything else.

I like my cars loud in color or volume, but not both.
