Sounds great.
If you stick with Class D amps to drive your speakers and sub, you shouldn't have any problem with the big three.
I know you just got a new battery; hopefully, it is an AGM type. When I upgrade audio in my cars, I always upgrade batteries from stock unless it came with a great AGM battery and is relatively new. If trying to stick to a certain budget, I recommend a good AGM battery from any of the major manufacturers. If looking for something designed to start your car and run an upgraded audio system, there are a many to choose from, such as Optima, XS Power, Stinger, Odyssey, and others. Hopefully, I am not coming across as being negative/assuming because that is not my intention.

I got a kenwood, jl audio 6s, skar sub, and amp. The amp is 800 watts rms class d. The easy way to find out amps rms is write bench test, brand, model number, and video in the search engine. I understand exactly what you are saying. Many amp manufacturers write peak power into fooling new people so they will buy their amps.
I haven't looked up the amp I'm thinking about. It's a jl audio 500 used for $75.
