I don't have em, but I can't see how it would hurt and I'm sure it's good for >50 hp in this kind of application. Which considering cost and effort is not a bad deal. Hell just losing the factory cats alone would probably get you that. It's part of my "stage 3" for the car when the current procharger power wears off. You can probably get a lot of the performance out of shorties or even cat delete, but nothing beats some nice big LTs IMO.

Yea 2" is pretty huge I can't imagine 1 7/8 being a bottle neck for most people unless they're getting pretty crazy.

We ran their 1-7/8" headers w/offroad midpipe and pure thunder catback on our 2015 and it was more than enough to support the power we were making to go 9.70@150 on a manual car. The 2" headers probably won't be needed to at least 1000rwhp+.

Give us a call if you have any questions and make sure to be on the lookout for our 12 Days of Christmas sale which will feature ARH.

1 3/4" isn't a bottle neck for most people let alone 1 7/8". 2" - that's girthy.

I'm actually strongly considering getting the 1 3/4" headers for my GT. I already have an H-pipe and Roush Axlebacks on it, and I want it just a little louder lol.

I'm still stock for now (other than a catback exhaust). The only thing that's really stopping me is the fact that I'll now need to buy a tune, and the install is a nightmare to begin with. Not to mention the cost can really add up, and I'll be out of warranty and I only have about 5000 miles on the odo haha!

1 3/4 is good if you plan on keeping the car N/A with some modest power. But yes a tune is needed and install is not super easy. If you're gonna pay someone to do it and the tune I can see how it starts adding up.

As far as the powertrain warranty goes it is what it is. My mustang is not my daily and at just 4,000 miles my powertrain warranty is out the window. I don't think they're going to be able to weasel out of warrantying non-powertrain things, which IMO is the more PITA stuff to deal with. I have no patience for dealing with some crazy in-dash electric problems or heater core crap, etc...

My daily on the other hand is staying bone stock. I got it a month and a half ago when I sold my truck and all I've done is tinted it. I might get some rims and that's about it. Audi is way too good at detecting that you've messed with the car. One of the guys on our Audi board just got the APR tune done on the same car, while it was a great boost in performance, the dealer caught him on his first oil change. His VIN was immediately flagged as power train warranty void. They didn't even tell him anything, one of the other members works at Audi and looked up his VIN.
