What was your rpm limit at? Should of used the cobra jet altenator pulley for high rev track days. Or I believe you can even order a boss alternator with the pulley off MMR website.

These cars have a smart charging system. It only charges the battery when needed so you will see alot of voltage fluctuation. I would only be worried if the battery light is on.

I've had this happen three times to me. First time I thought i got water in it at car wash. Reflashed the tune and all seemed good. Next time no car wash. Reflashed tune,,, didn't fix it. Drove it later at night with lights on, all seemed normal. Did it again last week and then next day back in the 13.4 - 13.8 range. Ive decided to ignore it unless the battery light comes on.
Also have the Ngauge and have one of the pids set on voltage. It is always .5v higher reading on the Ngauge vs the factory one. Also the Ngauge reacts MUCH faster to voltage changes. Just screws with on/off settings on the Ngauge.

does yours go down to 12.1? mine seems to only do it for a little while when coming to a stop and idling. got my braille in the trunk just in case. went to kc street car takeover today in crazy slow traffic and it stayed around 12.5 12.6 in traffic. this never happened before last nite drags. i hate to take it to the dealer if i dont have to.

yeah...mine has gone down to 12.1 a few times. When I drive and it gets that low I do a lot of engine breaking which makes it spike up to the 14's. Sounds like its doing its thing.

My old Pontiac did this too. During a 65 MPH long ride the battery would slowly go down to 12 volts, them bam 14 volts again. It would do this over and over. I think it is the way they save gas and only run the alternator when needed.

I had that happen one time with my old c6 vette. Never had any issues except coming home from the drags one night. Threw codes saying there was a charging error. The next day it was fine and didn't do it again.

She shows 13.1v but it is slowly going down if I leave it running. Saw 12.7v last time I started her.

i would put it on a charger for a while and then watch the volt gauge and see if the battery drains until car wont start. i kept my braille in my car for a couple days with an 8 and 10mm ratchet just in case.
